Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 118K at the end of September and dipping to around 91K by mid-October. However, it recovered to reach 141K in the second week of November and ended the year strong with 126K downloads in the final week. Weekly revenue for the app peaked at approximately $1.1K in early November but tapered off slightly to $935 by the end of December. Active users hovered around 31M throughout the quarter, peaking at about 31.4M in mid-November.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a robust download rate, beginning Q4 with 212K downloads and closing the year with 159K. The app's active users showed consistent growth, starting at 32.7M and rising to approximately 33.8M by the end of December.
